Regional West Medical Center – Full-Time Anesthesiologist Job Job – Scottsbluff, NE

Regional West Medical Center, a single hospital with adjacent low-volume surgery center is looking for 2 physician anesthesiologists to add to current staff of 2 full time MDA’s & 3 part time MDA’s.  W-2 position with $525k annual salary and multiple benefits including 401k, health/dental/vision, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME funds, and more!  Work-life balance is a priority for this group.  Call is currently from home with a 1:5 frequency.  Guaranteed post call day off in addition to pre-call morning off.  Call backs are infrequent as CRNA’s handle labor epidurals.  Light weekly hours, primarily involving medical direction of 2-3 rooms.  New grads welcome. Case mix includes general surgery, bariatrics, orthopedics, neuro with spine as primary focus, OB/GYN, rare vascular (carotids, AVF’s, & fem-pops), endoscopy, ENT, and some healthy PEDS (T&A, BMT’s, and the occasional appy; no kids under 2 y/o).  Current OR model allows for 6-7 rooms daily (we typically run 5-6).  Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center & does provide high risk OB services, requiring a 15-minute response time from home.  Collegial atmosphere/relationship with surgeons & proceduralists.  New CEO with friendly, yet driven demeanor, who values the anesthesia department.
